SPIRITFEST • April 2nd, 2011

Christ the Cornerstone ministries is proud to announce their first SPIRITFEST event in Pinellas Park, Florida on Saturday, April 2nd from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

This event is a combination of a free outdoor concert with renowned artists from the state of Florida who represent genres ranging from Christian, Pop and Blues music, along with an indoor vendor market with food and activities for all ages.

The lineup of performing artists is versatile and diverse with groups such as:

SHAWN THOMAS – A solo artist and songwriter whose album was recently named Top 10 on OutVoice.net. Shawn has been awarded “Album of the Year” 2009 Voters’ Choice Award from “Unashamed Faith Cafe” Radio as well as “2010 Production/Producer of the Year” and “Pride in the Arts” Awards. His unique vocal style and versatile musical skills will capture your heart.

Karmic Tattoo is the phenomenal all-female band hailing from the Tampa Bay area. Known for their interaction with their audience KT knows how to get the crowd going. Their music ranges from 60′s, 70′s on up to today’s hits and includes some original music. They have an enormous and ever-growing fan base in the Tampa/St Pete area and are sure to have us all dancing and singing.

SHINE MINISTRIES – An ensemble of artists who excel in interpretive dance and ministry, including singing, signing, dancing and testimony. After their successful summer tour throughout the country, the group increased their ministry and founded a church in South Florida called Shine Ministries. You will love watching their souls and spirit dance to powerful music with a message.

TAMMY HATCH is no stranger to the area, playing for the last seven years with well known artists and bands in the R&B arena such as James Peterson, Lucky Peterson, and many others. She’s a singer, songwriter and versatile musician. We will all immediately identify with this music as she plays her Bonnie Raitt style slide guitar, and her Tina Turner – Janis Joplin style voice.

CANAAN BAND – They are a Rock and Soul talent powerhouse of musical and creativity. The band writes most of their songs together or individually. The range of their talent enables the group to thrill and inspire fans of all ages as they perform and minister in concert and church services. Canaan’s music is powerful with a powerful message!

ARICA LOVE – A Radio personality who is well known throughout the Tampa Bay/St Pete area is and host of “Entertainment with Arica Love” on V109FM, will be our host speaker and MC for the day.

The event purpose is to raise funds for several ministries of the church such as the Homeless Ministries, El Tamarindo orphanage in Dominican Republic, as well as for the Rainbow Youth Group.
