David ably provides vocals as well as accompaniment on the many instruments he plays; bass, saxophone, piano, guitar, percussion and most other instruments as well. As a Pentecostal prodigy, David brings his long national experience, energy, faith and talent to Canaan. As singer, songwriter, and musician, he adds a depth and power and range to the group which are pivotal to their success.

Listen to his story of when he was traveling in previous years, looking for his place in this world after leaving the church, only to find himself wandering into a chapel in Prague. As he listened to the choir sing for its Easter service, he was deeply moved and immediately knew what God wanted from him. He returned to the U.S. and has been singing ever since.
