Canaan Band was formed by three musicians from St Petersburg, Florida, with a vision to share God’s love through their music. They are all accomplished musicians who travel with a five-piece band. Their message is powerful in music and words and effectively touches audiences with stories of love and faithfulness in the face of all life situations.

They are a Rock and Soul talent powerhouse of musicality and creativity. The band writes most of their songs together or by the talented members. Their motivation and drive, the many instruments they play. And the range of their talent enables the group to thrill and inspire fans of all ages – especially to youth – as they perform and minister in concert and church services.

Three individually accomplished musicians, three magnetic personalities, and three people of consummate faith have come together – some would say have been “brought together” – and they are on a mission.

Canaan Band’s members realize that most religious foundations in the U.S. do not accept their faith in God, yet they relentlessly keep writing and singing to any and all who will open their hearts and minds to hear the message. They stand firm in their belief that God loves and accepts us all, just as we are.

Canaan’s universal and all-encompassing message dispels the oxymoronic notion that people of faith would exclude others of faith, when we are all made in God’s image. Fancy words. A heady mission. But they are “SERIOUS!”
